Among airports in the Southeast (and other places), Charleston International Airport had one of the best records for on-time departures and arrivals for March, according to a report released in May by the U.S. Department of Transportation, which reports monthly statistics for airports across the nation. The DOT's air travel report doesn't look at just departures and arrivals, but also other things, such as missing baggage, customer service complaints and incidents involving animals and pets.
